As a workers’ compensation attorney in the Naples and Ft. Myers area for nearly 23 years, I’ve heard many of the same questions from my clients. I’ve decided to start a blog which focuses on the most common questions a workers’ compensation client asks.
About Workers Compensation Attorney Frank W. Piazza
Frank W. Piazza has devoted his entire legal career to helping injured workers. He received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of South Florida in 1987, followed by his law degree from the University of Florida in 1990. Since May of 1992, he has represented literally thousands of injured workers in Southwest Florida, and has handled all types of cases. A judge of compensation claims has said that Mr. Piazza enjoys an outstanding reputation in the field of Workers’ Compensation law.
“My approach to representing people is perhaps different than others. I actually enjoy meeting with and getting to know each of my clients. In many instances, they become my friends. I am happy to answer their questions and explain each stage of their case with them. That’s my job. I want my clients to feel cared for. When you become a client, you become part of our family. That’s my approach. Old school? Perhaps, but sometimes there’s only one way to get the job done, the right way!”
Mr. Piazza’s professional memberships have included the Florida Workers’ Advocates, American Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, Florida Academy of Professional Mediators, Association for Conflict Resolution, and the Orange, Lee and Collier County Bar Associations. He is triple-certified as a mediator by the Florida Supreme Court. He has lectured at educational conferences at the invitation of the Florida Bar Association.
