Can I get an advance payment of compensation?

Yes, an injured worker may request an advance payment of compensation if they meet certain criteria as defined by the workers’ compensation law. Many insurance companies will routinely grant an advance request of up to $2,000.00. Advances in that amount or less do not require separate judicial approval. When the insurance company denies an injured worker’s request for an advance, a Motion for Advance can be filed before the Judge of Compensation Claims. If this should occur, we strongly suggest that you let us assist you.

"Frank and Coral did an amazing job on my case! They were both on top of everything throughout the whole process. I would recommend them to anybody and if needed be I would go back to them again."
